Montreal’s cultural wealth enriched by the students
Every year, the city of Montreal hosts many students from all over the world. In fact, the metropolis has a yearly average of 30,000 university students who come from abroad, a true testament to its popularity.
In 2017, Montreal was honoured with the title “Best Student City of the World” by the international QS Best Student Cities ranking. With its openness to the world, its diversity and its multiculturalism, it’s not surprising that the city is so attractive to foreign students who indeed feel at home here!
ESTWEST, at the heart of student life
The ESTWEST real estate project is located close to Concordia University as well as the Dawson and LaSalle CEGEPs, all three of which are among the best educational institutions in Canada. It’s the ideal place for students, with studios and units adapted to their needs! The library annexed to the complex, the green spaces for sharing and relaxing, as well as the many restaurants, cafes and trendy shops are all conducive to an ideal student lifestyle.
In celebration of the 375th anniversary!
This year, as part of the 375th anniversary celebrations, the city is offering the Passeport MTL étudiant international, an initiative of La Vitrine, whose mission is to promote the diversity of Greater Montreal’s cultural offer. This passport is available to all international students admitted at a Montreal university over the year and gives privileged access to a variety of events and offers related to Montreal’s cultural and artistic scene. What’s more, it’s free!
The city can be proud of hosting a rich and diverse student community that contributes greatly to its cultural development and international influence.
